  • There's something magical about Rosetta McClain Gardens, and I'm not quite sure I can put my finger on it. Perhaps it's the location, perched high above Lake Ontario. Perhaps it's the variety of trees...  more »
  • Rosetta McClain Gardens is a hidden gem - even those of us very familiar with Scarborough might not know it's there. I first visited this garden 30 years ago - and the structure is still the same... t...  more »
  • I visited several gardens and parks in Toronto but none was as divine as this, the feeling of being in the heavenly paradise is great because of the calm and the vision of the horizon is very beautiful!

  • Beautiful grounds a with a great view of Lake Ontario along the bluffs. Scenic and quiet spot for a stroll. Lesser known so not as crowded or touristy; very serene.
  • Of all the parks in the 416, I've recently come to realise that this park is in fact my favourite. I've lived in Toronto my entire life, but only discovered this park in the past 5 years or so. I suspect this park is generally not well known. I expect that'll change as word gets around. I'd love to hug whomever arranges the annuals each year, because this is clearly done with love. The trees, too, are fantastic, with several stunning speciments of Norway Spruce and Douglas Fir, possibly over a century old based on their height. The squirrels are clearly spoiled, and will come right up and beg for food (I suspect feeding them is not actually good for them, but I give them a smile ... for which they have no use). From what I hear, birders love this place for all the raptors which come through. Also, the view of the lake from atop the cliffs is always dramatic. An excellent place to catch your breath ... breathe deeply and enjoy!
  • Beautiful green space featuring gazebos, pergolas, and a large stone fountain plus views of the lake at the cliff top. There are a lot of different plant and tree species, with staff to maintain them in the summer months. Wedding photography is often done here.
  • Lovely & peaceful place! Very well maintained. Thanks to everyone who contribute to keep this place so very awesome!
  • Good place and nice for old people and families , often quiet
