4/5 based on 240+ reviews on the web
An iconic government building, New City Hall was designed by Finnish architect Viljo Revell, who envisioned the structure as a saucer-shaped council chamber flanked by two concave towers of differing heights. You can take a tour of the building to learn about the history of the city and see its green roof, arguably the structure's finest architectural feature. • We visited on a tour. Just think it changed shape and viewed from the side, such as is ball in the center of two semi-circular buildings, but judging from the above, is what's "eye". Nose and upper eyelids, lower eyelids. Let's listen and I do not know. Many tourists took photos. Old Town Hall on the road. It is a more familiar form.

  • In summer just sitting in the courtyard looking up at this magnificent building is a joy in itself. Skating in the winter makes for a fun cold day activity
  • A unique building that had been in a few films, the rooftop gardens (of the main structure, not the towers) offer a great getaway from the city. They are not that popular so you might have them to yourself.
  • Concrete a la Soviet Union and retro architecture. Getting old and crumby. They'll need a multi-milion dollar reno soon. Good skating though.
  • nice hall...ideal for any corporate gatherings.... thenewscompany #doinikbarta #ibangla #enewsbdpress #rrajowan #aerobdnews
  • Wow! Maybe I'm used to expecting very poor services from government institutions, but boy did the Toronto City Hall prove me wrong! Got my paperwork so fast it was insane. Very short lines, too! The US could sure learn a lot from how Canada manages these things.
  • Surprisingly fast service for any city issues like property tax. A far cry from service Ontario.
