  • I actually live nearby and always enjoy going to that park for a walk. It is very peaceful and relaxing, strolling around, watching ducks, swans and geese in the water. It gets very busy on weekends a...  more »
  • It’s a very nice place to relax, you can just sit there to watch the swimming on the lake. Closed your eyes and enjoying the sun and listening to the sound of the water. So peace, definitely would lov...  more »

  • Walk, skate, ride a bike... It doesn't matter. Serenity and peace is all around. The bird singing has a soothing effect almost hypnotic. The water and the luscious green along with the local swan take you out of this world but hurry up and come before some idiot decide to place more condo towers all over. Don't forget the spirit house.
  • Beautiful park with lots of shore line and a cool high concept Butterfly habitat. I was there as a volunteer assistant stage manager for the Canada day concert and loved every minute. There is also lots of parking here too.
  • Hunger bday park (East and West both) is the priest park in all Toronto. With lake all around and amazing night views of the city. Plus the butterfly garden is right next door to it. The waterfront trail goes through this area also. Plenty of municipal parking. You can use the Green P app for parking, which is nice if you can't get back to your car to plug the meter.
  • This is a really great park. I come here often in the early morning on weekends to take photos. Great view of the lake and the city skyline. Lots of wild life and nice scenery.
  • It's a heaven for animals especially migrating birds. Unfortunate people dont understand the importance of this place and it's contaminated by neighbors, mostly by people recently moved to this area. I worry we will this place in the next 10 years or so.

Where to stay in Toronto

Most visitors stay in the historic neighborhood of Old Toronto, as the central district offers unparalleled access to the best attractions in the city and several metro stations within walking distance. If you're looking for a different taste of Toronto, stay in the trendy neighborhoods of West Queen West or King West Village, popular for their nightlife, arts, and cafe scenes. You can embrace Toronto's multicultural charms by staying in Chinatown, perhaps the city's best location for foodies.
