  • We wandered around here after our visit to the ROM. The weather was very nice! We saw lots of fun things. Especially the large statue of the cat. Beware the parking in this area is very pricey!  more »

  • It may not be the easiest of places to get to by car, but if you spend a few hours here with family or friends, it is worth the drive, traffic, long lineups, etc. My best advice would be to pack some food, drinks and a blanket for a nice picnic by the water. Or go anyway, it's like an adventure in the city. Always something new and interesting to see and experience! I love TO :)
  • Been coming here ever since we've lived in Toronto; 4 years. It's always special and we've never had one complaint. They just renovated and the atmosphere is even lovelier than before! Food and service is fantastic.
  • Great place to spend a weekend. Great atmosphere and beautiful views. There are always a variety of food options and great little popup vendors.
  • One of the few legitimate draws to Toronto's waterfront. Whether you're 'dancing on ice' to the sound of DJ'd music, or drinking in a beautiful sunset during an evening stroll in the summer, Harbourfront provides a unique gateway to our waterfront.
  • Great place to visit for fresh air, lakeshore view and boat trips! There are so many fun activities going on over the summer.

Where to stay in Toronto

Most visitors stay in the historic neighborhood of Old Toronto, as the central district offers unparalleled access to the best attractions in the city and several metro stations within walking distance. If you're looking for a different taste of Toronto, stay in the trendy neighborhoods of West Queen West or King West Village, popular for their nightlife, arts, and cafe scenes. You can embrace Toronto's multicultural charms by staying in Chinatown, perhaps the city's best location for foodies.
