  • Gibson house is a small house that shows that days living style. There was a guide who guide us throw the house and explain everything for us. The ticket price is about 6$ that really worth it.  more »
  • Great tour of the historic house. Lots of activities to engage kids in learning about history and the Discovery Gallery was a big hit.  more »
  • This museum just north of the 401 is an ideal place to spend two hours and do a picnic with the 6 to 10 year old. Nestled in between two 50+storey condos the 18th cemetery home of the first suyveyour ...  more »

  • Great programs for history lovers. The tour is very instructive and the artifacts inside make you feel like you're in 1861 again. Is also affordable and offers good souvenirs.
  • Excellent tour guide gave a very informative tour highlighting the history of the time and the area as well as Mr. Gibson's story. Interesting layout - the house is bigger than it looks!
  • I've been to Gibson House before, but took a group of new visitors who had never been there before. We went in December, when we got a seasonal themed tour, plus a tea break in the dining room, all for the price of general admission, which was already pretty inexpensive. Everybody who came with me says they want to do the same thing again next year (or, way before then!).
  • Cozy place on the heart of Toronto on Yonge street. Unfortunately, very small.
  • It's a great option for Sunday afternoon. The guides tell the Gibson's story and many facts about the Victorian era in an engaging way. Plus you are offered delicious tee and oat cookie. Love this place already :)
