  • Not having been there for many years I was pleased to see they have replaced the old dumpy buildings with new modern structures. Parking was $15 and admission was $20 so well worth it for what I saw. ...  more »
  • I visited the site during the Canada Exhibition in September/17, the place is huge and has an amazing infrastructure. Acted several presentations, parks, fairs, parades, foodtrucks etc. A must for anyone who is in town then, occurs once a year.

  • After talking about going for many years, today we finally made it. We were very impressed with the livestock displays, the show rings and the stables. Any of the people we spoke with were very good a...  more »

  • Attended Exhibition Place for the annual "One of a Kind" exhibit/market. It was set up beautifully as always. The staff and security were friendly and efficient. This time they had more of a food selection inside for lunch! A great venue and easy walk from the Go Train station. I look forward to coming again in the future!
  • I love going to the ex! Really love the food building! Lots of food you can't get anywhere else! AND they let food carts in for 1 week every year, also awesome, because some of these carts are events-only, so you won't see them except at music or fair-type events! Definitely worth going! But save money by going at 5 pm or later! Cheers!
  • This is a good venue for large events. We attended the one of a kind show. It is easy to access via Go Train, TTC and car. There is also lots if parking if your car is the only option. I have been here many times and even with high traffic it is always clean.
  • It is a great space for a large show. There is also a lot of different things you can do in the area. I was there for the one of a kind show and it fit is very well there. The only issue I have is that it isn't exactly super convenient to get there via public transit. There are street cars that go there but it is too bad there isn't a subway station much closer. In the summer the walking is nice, but if the weather is bad then not that great.
  • The rides are tired and old. The fun houses are so beaten up, most don't work anymore. Food building is great, arts and crafts building is great, dog show and skating show is a ton of fun. The rides should not be your reason for going to the ex. The Polar express is still phenomenal though.

Where to stay in Toronto

Most visitors stay in the historic neighborhood of Old Toronto, as the central district offers unparalleled access to the best attractions in the city and several metro stations within walking distance. If you're looking for a different taste of Toronto, stay in the trendy neighborhoods of West Queen West or King West Village, popular for their nightlife, arts, and cafe scenes. You can embrace Toronto's multicultural charms by staying in Chinatown, perhaps the city's best location for foodies.
