So much fun! A bit expensive for the entrance, but there is entertainment all around that make it worth while. Don't drive there. It's a head ache. Plus it's more expensive than taking the ttc. Get there early, leave early to not have to deal with everyone leaving at once.

Love the CNE experience. Lots to see and do. Let your teens venture to the rides and games while parents can visit the buildings, see the boats, arts, crafts, take in a show - this summer 2016 there's a dog show, ice skating spectacular, acrobat shows, even a talent contest for children and young adults. Sand sculptures, miscellaneous shopping of caps, clothing, perfumes, CD's and so much more. Vendors from many countries all over the world. It's a fab place every year. Best deal going is to buy your children and all day pass. Forego buying individual tickets as they too costly and besides each ride takes a minimum of five tickets. Food building has a variety including hamburgers made of waffles instead of a bun, Greek food, Thai, Indian, Chinese, Hungarian, plus ice cream, snow cones, deep fried chocolate bars and other unique dishes. 30$ indoor parking and it convenient especially to bring your stash of stuff you purchase and to retrieve outerwear in case it gets chilly.
The food building is why I go. But parking gets more expensive every year. $35 this year. Also very crowded. Don't go on youth day.
Went early in the morning and it was perfect, a good selection of rides for both kids and adults. Plenty of washroom and food vendors; side note expect to send top dollar for food ( nothing new BRING CASHHH). Overall a wonderful experience at the EX.
CNE was crazy and lots of fun. Yes its expensive (you know it will be, its a carnival) but theres all kinds of crazy foods and games to play. A definite checkout for a Toronto tourist
