  • We decided to visit this place during our 11 day holiday to Toronto. Walk ins only available Friday, Saturday and Sunday so we went on Friday. The session was incredible. What a thrill. All staff were...  more »
  • Honestly, BATL is way better than any other axe throwing league/place. They have real/actual axes that are not fully steel built. They are wood build handles and look and feel real. The leagues are aw...  more »
  • I love this place! I tried axe throwing for the first time at a work event, and I was hooked from the start! After testing the waters with work, I joined their league and have been playing for a year....  more »

  • What a blast!! The grooms dad vs the bride in the finale. We took a group of 20 and had rented out 4 lanes. Two guides stay with you and give everyone practice and lessons. By the end of practice everyone was a least hitting and sticking the axes in the boards. From there they ran a competition that led to the finale. Waiver yes, sharp axes yes, cussing yes, hidden warehouse thats hard to find yep, do it again? Absolutely
  • I had tones of fun here! All the staff were super friendly but also very well trained. I was in a group of about 12 and there was never a dull moment. Looking forward to going back :)
  • These guys will make sure you and your friends are having a blast. We we're ~30 people, divided into two groups. We had two awesome coaches that took their time to teach people how to throw an axe, and even to find the right style for you. Just to clarify - you can be a total newbie and still win the playoffs, like it happened with my group. Bring your (non-alcoholic) drinks, there's a fridge you can use and high tables for snacks and food - we ordered pizza ahead to arrive an hour into our time slot, which worked out great, because by that time everyone completed their training. There's a free parking in the front and on the street, but the place is easily accessible if you just walk down Cherry street. Follow this with a round of beers in the Distillery and your fun is guaranteed.
  • Was here in a group for a birthday celebration. Fun lively place with great staff. Basic training is provided before your start throwing. Everyone had an experience to remember.
  • Always lots of fun with a group. Gets a little warm in the summer so dress appropriately. No open-toed shoes.
