Radar Hill, Tofino

(190+ reviews on the web)
Nature / Park
Used in both World War 2 and the Cold War, Radar Hill represents both a historical and outdoor activity site. Take a half-hour hike down Radar beach to reach the hill, remembering to wear adequate shoes and clothes, as the trail can get slippery and muddy at times. At sunset, you can enjoy the view over the peninsula in peace, so bring your camera to snap some great photos. Finish your hike by inspecting the crashed bomber plane from World War 2. Take a look at our Tofino vacation planner to schedule your visit to Radar Hill and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Nice easy trail to the top, 2-3 overlook areas that give you a feel for the area. Most anyone could access the lookouts. Heard a bear "huffing" near by when we were at the top, fun experience.  more »
