  • We took a 2 hour fishing trip and had a great time! We caught 3 lake trout, would've been 4 but the big one got away. The crew were friendly and very helpful. Great family event.  more »
  • Snorkelling is OK (hence the two points) but the scuba-diving trips offered by them are a complete disaster. I have been diving for fifteen years and have never seen such a reckless dive shop. On the ...  more »

  • We went for Snorkeling during the July long weekend and had worst experience ever. G+S doesn't provide help if you need any help while you are in the water and need any rescue. One of the member was non-swimmer and drifted towards the rocks when she has entered into the water. People on board has requested to rescue her for almost 30 -45 mins and then one person without proper equipment jumped into water to rescue. REFRAIN YOURSELF GOING WITH G+S Watersports Ltd IF YOU ARE NON-SWIMMER. There are other alternatives.
  • BAD BUISNESS I rented wet suits and masks for the two of us. We went down the street and we're told the park was full today and they had police blocking the bruce provincial park off. So we walked back to the store to return the unused suits. As we drove 4 hours to snorkel and see the grotto. I paid 80$ and they wouldn't refund me at all not even part of my rental. They said no refunds which they had no signs and didn't state that at all anywhere. It's a terrible place the man at the counter was very rude and upset me. On Canada day he showed his true colours more like a nazi greed feed swine. We didn't take hours to return we came right back. I honestly feel like I've been robbed and taken advantage of by this man. My husband called and the man was so rude as I was crying and that was a lot of money we don't have. So we got to drive home 4 hours and I didn't get to go snorkelling and I was robbed by this man. And he just laughed and said make sure you get the story straight. When a customer comes back without using the rental some or all remuneration should be refunded. You should rent from anywhere else but here. It's costly and the man will rob you like he did me. Beware and stay away from this place. It's sad evil people exist like this especially on Canada day. Especially when you go back 15 min later. Now I'm broke and didn't get to do what I've been waiting to do snorkelling and seeing the grotto. It was on my bucket list before I soon die. I guess the criminal owner man doesn't care all he cares about is to rob tourists.
  • Have been using G+S for years! Very helpful with information about wrecks and dive sites. All my dive equipment has come from G+S and have been very pleased.
  • Well that sucked. My parents used to come diving here in some frequency when they were younger, so why not give them the business, right? Nooooope. Equipment was very much a slapping together of variously fitting and non fitting pieces some with signs of excessive ware (to be expected) but wouldn't have mattered as much if you bums wouldn't have had us carry in and carry out all our own gear to the dock. After hearing we could've paid less and not of had to deal with lugging that ourselves (diving is tiring and we paid you a premium for it) with Diver's Den, why the hell would I or anyone else want to give you the business? Have you ever heard of a dive operation that doesn't have extra weights on the boat? My father couldn't even break 2 ft and was forced to stay ON THE BOAT for the day. ON THE F'N BOAT, and $525... It's 2016, we all deserve way better for our money these days.
  • We booked a fishing charter weeks in advance of today. All was confirmed and they took our credit card. When we got there today the employee told us he didn't have a booking and went through several books to try and find it but said he had nothing booked. It wasn't until we pushed and he saw that we had 6 kids with us that he said he left us a message cancelling our charter. No such message was ever found. He then made a call and told us a boat would be there within 20 mins. An hour and a half later a boat shows up to tell us he wasn't taking us out because he was in rough waters. Btw the temp is 23, sunny, and no wind. I went back into the store and the employee acted like he didn't care. Never again will I book with this place. Oh well lesson learned.
