Bay of Fundy Scenic Lobster Tours, Tiverton

We did the scenic lobster tour about a week ago with our family of six and thoroughly enjoyed it. Tamara and Captain Kyle did a great job taking us around the Bay of Fundy and Margaret's Bay. We learned a lot about lobsters, lobster fishing and Tiverton. While on the tour we saw seals, a porpoise, and the Balancing Rock. We even got to hold lobsters, band them, and put them to sleep. 🙂 We would definitely recommend doing this tour and would do it again if we visit Nova Scotia again. 👍

Definitely a MUST! This tour was such an amazing experience for our family and the hosts were extremely knowledgeable, super friendly, and just awesome. Not only did we learn about lobsters and fishing in the areas, but we also heard some history and got to experience the changing tides of the bay of fundy. The Captain was great and the ride was perfect for little ones. Tamara made the experience especially fun for the children and was warm and inviting. We couldn't have asked for a better experience in Nova Scotia! The prices are well worth it and the boat - despite it's size - is in great shape :). The hostess made everything super inviting and fun and extremely educational ). There's a little cafe right after the ferry that was super yummy and made the experience even more fun. I added this to the review because I forgot to add that we even got to see some adoreable baby seals with their moms on the other side of the bay. Just a great time all around! The longer car ride to Tiverton was definitely worth it for us and the experience on the ferry made it fun - plus there are quite a few things to see on the island - like the lighthouse / the balancing rock! Seriously one of the best experiences in my life. This tour definitely deserved it's 5 stars, I'd give it more if I could!

Lobster fishing is hard work, but the guide and captain make it look fun and easy. An educational and interesting experience.

This is a MUST tour. What a fantastic trip. I got to hold a live lobster right out of the trap. WOW!! We even saw a whale. Tamera was very informative and gave lots of little true life glimpse of what it is like to be a lobster fisher. Kyle, our captain, was able to step out for a few minutes to speak with us as well. A special THANK YOU to Kyle and Tamera for a special day on the water. As "Graham's Cottage Retreat" I highly recommend "Bay of Fundy Scenic Lobster Tours."
