  • Wonderful park overlooking lake superior....with an amazing unimpeded view of the sleeping giant...with large green lawns to toss a ball or Frisbee around..playgrounds for the tots. A beautiful flower garden ..and some historic artifacts from the cities history make this a park on the cities north side worth visiting.
  • Its a clean place to eat or exercise or even bring the kiddos to play. Would have been 5 stars but I am not a fan of woodchip floor on the playground. Doesn't wood hold moisture and rot? Whoever heard of making a woodchip castle?
  • A great view of the city and the sleeping giant. There were nice flowers all around the park and benches to sit down and enjoy the view. The only issue is that there is quite a bit of graffiti in parts of the park including the flag pole and bell. There is also a nice playground for the kids.
  • One of the best views of the lake in Thunder Bay. There is a newer playground for the little ones, a huge field for many uses and a memorial for fallen in World War 2 from a local regiment. If you play Pokemon Go or Ingress there are many pokestops and portals here too.
  • Great view over the city. Can see the sleeping giant. Historical monuments. Also if your playing pokemon go very good spot to meet people and play the game.
