  • The Welland Canal and lock system is a man-made wonder. Very interesting to see and try to make sure and view a ship moving through the system. Well worth a visit.

  • Would be a great experience for kids! We happened to be there just as a big ship was coming through in the early evening. 
  • Great venue and excellent tie in to Thorold and Family history.
  • Lovely views, a nice stop off point during a walk along the canal.
  • Very cool place to view how locks work!
  • This location also houses the Thorold Historical Society and the Ontario Genealogical Socitey Niagara Penninsula Branch.
