  • Sand where you don't expect it! Great viewpoint here. Raining both times I visited.....so I didn't to the nice nature walk  more »
  • Passes a little muted this part of Tadoussac, best known for the whales, but surely, since you're already here, worth a day trip. Just 3 Km from the village centre, easily reached by car, there is this sand dune, carina per se but that offers the best for the beautiful views on the St-Lawrence River. If you want, you can walk down to the river via a small path, although the increase is somewhat tiring!

  • Easy to reach offers a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence. La Maison was closed but the view is worth a visit regardless.

  • We stayed in a cabin at Camping Domain des Dunes. It has one bed room, and a loft area with two beds. Each cabin has a fire pit in front. The kitchen is small, but manageable if you need to make food. We had a nice stay.
  • Great place. Clean, charming, close to town (Tadoussac), close to kayaking (the reason for our trip). Plenty of room for three guys (hence we dubbed it "Domaine des Dudes") and lots of wet kayaking gear to dry. We were there two years ago for four nights, and we are returning there this weekend for three nights.
  • Satisfait
  • We just came back from a week-stay at the campground of Domaine de Dunes, and it was great! One of the cleanest campgrounds I've ever been to, the bathrooms are spotless at any given time of the day. The sites are smaller and closer to each other than on the campgrounds of the provincial parks, but they are still very nicely nested in a forest. I'd go back there any time!
  • We were in the tipi. The overall experience was very good. Only negative is that it takes the car or walk 10 minutes to get to a real bathroom. There is a dry bathroom in 2 minutes walk.
