  • I just spent FOUR hours waiting to cross into Canada from Washington State at the Peace Arch border. What I learned during that four hours was this: US and Canada Customs don't care about how long you...  more »
  • A beautiful park to enjoy, especially in the summertime. Close to the ocean, and fun for kids & adults. If you are Canadian, and, staying on the Canadian side, you do not need a passport, or ID card.  more »
  • In the Summer, it is quite an enjoyable park for a picnic. At all times, busloads of tourists are dropped off and wander between the two customs checkpoints, crossing the actual border line back-and-f...  more »

  • This place is pretty cool and historic. Often people don't get a chance to spend time here, and if they do, they are anxious about getting through the boarder. However, it is a wonderful place to stop and play, eat lunch or hang out for a while. As a kid, it was a highlight to stop and play tag in this wonderful setting, running back and forth across the boarder line, through the arch.
  • A neat place to stop the car and step out if you're going from the US to Canada or vice versa. There's a small monument (looks like an obelisk) that designates the international boundary between the two countries, or its approximate location thereabouts. Only four stars because it's hard to get out of the line once you're in queue for customs inspection.
  • Not a bad border crossing if you’re in it for the location. Try to cross around sunset and you’ll have a beautiful view to take your mind off the queues. Some interesting sculptures and a lot of green space for you’re passengers/ kids/ pets to hang out while you wait.
  • Historical Site, Huge gardens at the park along with sculptures. The Peace Arch is really huge and the floral welcome sign is beautiful. If you head to Canada, there is a small trail down behind the customs buildings that go to the train tracks along side the water. The path has thick rope hand rails and wooden steps that kids can safely navigate. I will be visiting again eh!
  • You will not be disappointed! Beautifully landscaped and as occasional free concert. Thank you park service!
