Crescent Beach, Surrey

(4.4/5 based on 340+ reviews on the web)
Take a relaxing walk along the beach trail, or enjoy an ice cream in one of the quiet, sandy coves at Crescent Beach. The beach first became accessible to the public in 1909 thanks to the development of the Great Northern Railway, and has since become famous amongst the residents of Surrey. Take a dip in the roped swimming area, which offers a safe environment for swimmers of all levels. You’ll find a grass picnic area near Sullivan Point, which also makes the best spot for a game of beach volleyball. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Crescent Beach and many more Surrey attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Surrey trip itinerary builder.

  • Just a jaw dropping beach. I took to open water swimming and have enjoyed some good swims here. This is a lesser known beach as compared to White Rock - but a lot less touristy. It is only 5 minutes walk for us - so I can be biased. But we all love the clean and beautiful beach. There are el fresco showers available here to clean off the salty water if you so wish....
  • Even on a hazed over day it can still be fun. We live near by but we are true beach lovers and thots beach had a great place to realm a couple lovely restaurants and ice cream ..bring cash for ice cream though!
  • Very calm and tranquil small beach. Great to view sunsets. Easy frequent transit access from the 351 bus. Parking is a bit tough.
  • A great shoreline walk and beach to take family to. Good food nearby as well.
  • Lovely beach with great walking trails and lots of nearby shops/restaurants.
