  • Good signs to get to location. Friendly and helpful service. Wine is very good. Gorgeous outdoor seating area with beautiful views.
  • This winery has a wonderful view and the wine is fantastic. The owner gave us a tasting and he was very friendly. They had a special if you order a certain amount of wine you get a discount.
  • Their wines are great but added to that - if you buy a bottle then you can also bring your own picnic and sit outside on their lovely terrace. Great day had by all. Best wine was their gurwitztraminer...  more »
  • A great winery to find classic Okanagan Merlot. As good as it gets from anywhere in the valley. Fair prices for a lovely lineup of well-made wines.
  • Loved this place. Highly recommend all of their wines. Not even normally a white wine fan and fell in love with a white. Make the stop and enjoy
  • Not a wino like some folks but even i noticed how great the wine tasted at heavens gate was especially compared to dirty laundry wine that i tried previously.
  • Some of the best award-winning wines in the world are hand-crafted and occasionally they may throw sediment, or have tartaric crystals in them. It is a natural occurrence and actually a sign of a well made, minimally manipulated wine. As all of Heaven's Gate Estate Winery wines are hand-crafted this occasionally happens and certainly does not mean the wine is undrinkable. In fact, the wine is very drinkable. I would suggest pouring the last glass slowly or simply straining the last glass to enjoy every drop.
  • I brought a bottle of wine from heavens gate winery. I paid over twenty dollars on a bottle of Marlot. Was excited to have it with dinner that night with my spouse. The problem is when I poured the wine it had some kind of sludge in it. So much sludge that the wine was ruined. I called the owner the next day and told him of our problem. He told me that it is some kind of crystal in it and its all right to drink it. GROSS REALLY . I have been drinking wine now for over twenty years and never had that in my bottles ever. The really bad thing is he never tried to fix the problem. He could have given us a different wine in replacement but he never tried to fix it at all. So be WARNED that you are going to pay to much money for a bottle of sludge.
