Geared more toward primary school children/s curriculum, and as excellent enrichment programs for summer day camps, nevertheless, worth a visit with visiting families, or grandchildren.  more »

We visited on Earth day and had a great time with all the visiting organizations. The displays are a great introduction to freshwater ecosystems and the importance of water. Lower level has displays of native fish life which were alright but very sparse looking, particularly when compared with the windows out to the Brook, which was fantastic. I would have loved to see a bit more on freshwater invertebrates just because I think they are so cool.

Great place to take kids, it's better in the spring and summer with a greater variety of aquatic life available

A great learning experience for kids around 5 and older. Younger kids will enjoy looking at the fish but won't learn a whole lot. Adults will probably not find it engaging enough to be worthy of a long visit, but seeing the fish in a natural river environment through underground windows is a unique experience.

Really unique experience of seeing a whole stream from "fish" perspective. Followed up my visit with a really enjoyable walk on the trails around Long Pond and the surrounding area.

My kids love visiting the fluvarium. They have a number of live animals on display, including large windows looking out into the brook. We also love the trail around the pond.
