  • Being the only brewery on the island, this place is worth the visit. The lineup was way too long to actually tour the brewery and the price too steep for the 3 of us so we purchased a 6 pack and sat o...  more »
  • Home cooked food, local beer and a charming atmosphere are topped off with genuine Newfoundland music on Friday nights. Don't miss it!
  • Quidi Vidi doesn't take itself seriously but they have some seriously good beers. The tour begins with a very entertaining history and tasting session.

  • What a place to come to work every day. The tasting director, Adrian, was an awesome person to introduce us to Quidi Vidi beers. We got a true sense of history and flavour of the local beer. His appreciation for this beer is front and center. The whole environment surrounding the brewery is unique and charming. We brought a lunch with us from another local, Mary Browns, and enjoyed it on the pier with beers purchased from the gift shop. The locals were friendly and enjoyed putting on a show filleting the cod they just brought in. We enjoyed it so much we went back a second time. I wish it was available off the island.
  • It's the beer. Ok and the view of the picturesque cove. Oh yeah, and the beer. Visited from Vancouver Island
  • I came for the beer tour and it was the highlight of my trip to Newfoundland. Fantastic presenter and quality for the money. I wish i brought some Iceberg beer back to Ontario!
  • Awesome tour, lovely people, fantastic beer....what more could you ask for. Personally I would recommend the 45 min walk from st John's if that's where you are staying as it's really nice and builds a nice thirst
  • Visited from Ontario. Been here 3 times in the last 5 years. Beer is the best in the world. I mean that with passion. Especially the 1892ale. The tours are decent. I strongly recommend the beer.
