  • This was a really cool place to visit. We were lucky enough to arrive as a big ship was going through the port and it was fun to watch.
  • It is fantastic to see how they do the water in the Canel to lower the water just like the Panama Canal a ship just came through the canel.
  • Attended a birthday party in the room upstairs. It was a nice big open space with tons of windows to let in light. There were a number of upholstered chairs as well as some round tables with plastic chairs. There was a small kitchenette. The view was great although it was winter so we couldn't watch any ships coming through the lock. I can imagine this would be fantastic during the shipping season. The one down side is that there are no bathrooms on the same floor as the party room. You need to take the stairs or elevator down to the main floor to use the washroom. Other than that it is a cool venue for a small/medium party.
  • Great little museum. If you time your visit you can watch a boat go through the lock
  • Free admission. Nice little museum with a few surprises. Children's play structure on the property as well.
