  • The Chief in Squamish is a really tough hike but the views at the top are unbelievable. The top is slightly tricky on the second Peak, however conquering if is part of the experience!  more »
  • Usually starts a hiking trip with a piece where you just when to warm up is not here, so a little heating is probably a good idea, because it starts with some stone and then ca. 140 high step right up in the sky there are 3 tops to go up on I chose peak 2, the last piece on the cliffs, right after iron ladder, one should look good for, when you should be down, it is poorly signposted, I went wrong and got a bit in trouble, but found the road again. It took 1 hours and 42 minutes without breaks, up and down again, sweeping views of the Squarmish Valley

  • We have only done the first pic! MANDATORY physical fitness! Hiking very long and very difficult, but the arrival is just beautiful! I suffered in the legs and arms, provide "climbing" to complete. But I would definitely recommend! The view is breathtaking and makes us forget all the efforts made. We put 2 up and 1:30 to go down while the employee of the tourism office give us 1 hour and 45 minutes for all!

  • Go early or go late to avoid the crowds (but bring a head lamp it is much darker once you are in the woods) and get rewarded with sunrise /sunset views. Peaks 2 gives you the cool vantage point over to Peak 1 but it is a more technical top section. All three peaks offer endless views. If you are a fast hiker (no breaks and a good pace) peak 2 can be reached in 40 mins.
  • Incredible hike, but extremely technical and it can be tough on your knees down. I would recommend hiking poles. Take peak 2 and go down to peak 3, it will be an easier trek down. Honestly I talked to several Canadian and they said this would be an easy trail. Yeah this trail is tough and don't let anybody tell u otherwise.
  • Amazing views from the top of this mountain, it is absolutely beautiful and worth it, make sure to do the 3 peaks!
  • Love this mountain. It has three great hikes (first, second and third peaks) that are great for beginners and advanced hikers alike. The view from the second peak is the best.
  • Fun day of hiking - take away one star if you don't like a challenging hike. Personally - I loved the technicality of the climb.
