  • This park is a short way from Squamish on the Whistler Highway. The timing of our visit could not have been better. Water was gushing down the falls for more than 1,000 feet. There is an excellent loo...  more »
  • Very scenic gondola ride to the restaurant and viewing area, worth the trip just to have a lunch on the large balcony area with a view of Howe sound area. Even better is to take one of the many hikes ...  more »
  • Leaving Vancouver northward and road to Whistler along the famous highway Sea to Sky, these waterfalls are in a forced stop of the same hand of the road. There is a free parking, toilets and a shop with refreshments and snacks. There are outside tables for a picnic. Taking the path of right and then a path with gentle upward slope, you will reach the first sight of the jump; later on left and with steeper upward slope and stairs with unequal steps one gets to another viewpoint that is worthwhile. It is a walk that takes no more than one hour in the middle of a very interesting rainforest.

  • Pristine white waterfall almost as if it was made of milk. The Shannon falls is a gorgeous waterfall in squamish British Columbia in Canada. The falls are a majestic site. The road to the falls is very scenic winding through mountains. At one point the road goes through a turn where the falls are above you to the right and can be seen continuing below the road to the left. Lovely drive with great view points and some scenic outlooks.
  • It's a short hike through the forest from the parking lot to Shannon Falls. There's also a nice park by the parking lot before the trail where you can relax. Pretty crowded at the beginning of the day but easier to access in the afternoon. The view of the waterfall is really nice from the observation platform.
  • A great family activity just outside of the Vancouver "bubble". The scenic sea to sky highway is breath taking. Good amenities and a little store to buy ice cream and Nick nacks. Whith picnic areas in the park, and lots of shade for a nice lunch or dinner.
  • Loved it. Came on a tour off a cruise ship. Did not have enough time to fully explore and enjoy. But what I did do & see, my family & I had a great time. Will go back again if I'm ever in the area again. The area & trails seemed very well maintained.
  • It's always a good idea to stop at the site of this enchanting falls on the way up north. We were driving to Whistler and we had a short break to eat some snacks at the picnic tables on the location and enjoy the scene. We were awed by the vastness of Shannon Falls and its surroundings!
