  • I had a great time at the peak, hiking around the trails and visiting the viewpoints. I wish the price was a bit lower though.  more »

  • Great access to a lot of great family hikes up high. Lots of great views. There is a restaurant and cafe up top. All wheelchair accessible. There are both paved easy trails and more technically challenging trails. Gets crowded here. Especially the easy trails. The line for the gondola moves fairly quickly.
  • Good place to visit individually or with a family. Offers a variety of hiking paths ranging from easy to difficult. Good restaurant with a view of the bay, and a large area for kids and family picnics. Dog park wasn't open that day but should be pet friendly. The harder hikes are significant (3-6 hrs) so budget time accordingly if you want something more challenging. Only downside is this is a fairly touristy spot so you'll be dealing with crowds trying to take selfies rather than appreciating the views.
  • Breathtaking experience. Dress in layers for weather changes, pack some snacks, sunscreen, bug spray, water, charge the camera and just wander. The ride is worth every hard earned penny you spend. Crossing the bridge is not for the faint of heart but is the best way to explore. We had no agenda so we did not feel pressured to leave. We had a cooler in the car and just took off our shoes and tailgated before we left.
  • Such nice views and a fun experience. Good food at the restaurant although prices are a bit high. Did not have time (or the right gear) for the trails at the top. Nice little park at the bottom of the gondola for kids to play at.
  • I loved the Gondola lift. It rises very steeply to 2,900 feet! The views are magnificent and the suspension bridge was fantastic. The walks around the area are very well designed with interesting information boards about wildlife. Well worth a visit.
