  • I am terrified of cable cars but I knew I'd be sorry if I didn't do it and see the view at it's best. Price wise it's as expensive as all these kind of big attractions are but you can spend a while up...  more »
  • Preferred this one to the one at Grouse mountain, the views are simply stunning and the gondola ride lasts much longer. Lots to do once you get to the top, and lots of great viewpoints for photos!  more »

  • Went with my two young boys in the winter on a Sunday Social day. It was great! We had fun playing in the snow and exploring. Then we warmed up in the lodge. Inside they had set out games and crafts for the kids. There is also a kids play area that’s good for toddlers. If I wasn’t a parent I’d think it was a little too kid-friendly...if you’re looking for a romantic atmosphere don’t go on a Sunday Social. But for my family, it was perfect - we didn’t want to leave. I’d give it 5 stars if it wasn’t so dang expensive!
  • If you don’t want to bother with the ski crowds at whistler or grouse, than this is the ticket. A short and wonderful drive up the coast. Beautiful views of the surrounding coastal mountains on one side and Howe Sound on the other. Suspension bridge was great. Would love to go back to explore the trails the area has to offer.
  • I look to forward to coming back to visit again on a clear day, though regardless it was absolutely stunning to wander around in the snow. Staff are friendly and accommodating, snow tubing was a really good time and we watched a group of 16 people go down together which looked like loads of fun! We also enjoyed wandering across the suspension bridge and enjoying the view. Would we consider coming back to try snow shoeing some of the trails! Food and drinks are a little pricey but not more than any other attractions in the area, however they do have some different kind of cocktails and delicious mulled wine. I recommend the chai tea with a shot of baileys to make it a latte. Lots a families and kids having a great time running around in the snow, and not too crowded. If it’s not obvious, make sure you dress appropriately in the winter with thermal layers, a good water proof (or at least resistant) coat and boots. Consider getting micro spikes to pull onto the bottom of your shoes for traction when walking even if you’re not visiting to do any sports as the snow can become slippery in areas of high foot traffic even though the staff do their best to maintain all of these areas and keep them safe. We booked online with the shuttle from downtown Vancouver, pick up and drop off made life really easy.
  • We have passed this place several times on our way up to Whistler and finally stopped....WOW! Had no idea there was so much to do. We thought it was just an overlook! There is food, with a restaurant and bar with amazing views, a play area for kids, and miles of hiking/snowshoeing trails! We only stayed about 1.5 hours, but could have easily stayed much longer!
  • Great access to the alpine, winter and summer. Staff have been keeping many trails groomed and suitable for skiing and snowshoeing. The seasons pass is good value. Like so many local attractions, it's busy in the main areas, but get past that and you have the trails to yourself.
