  • my son's hockey team went up the Chief and came down with Gondla. the gondla ride was amaging to over see ocean and mountains.
  • Expensive prices. Not much to do when you get to the top. Usual cheesy gift shop items. Once youve seen the view and walked the bridge, not much else to do as a family group other than food.
  • Great viewing from the gondola and walking tracks for all levels at the summit. You can walk up if you want and take the gondola back down. Excellent for families.
  • Incredible ...the gondola ride is jaw dropping in the way up and breath taking on the way down! We took the 1.6km hike and loved the views. It's not to intensive and plenty of resting stops with benches. Both my hubs and I have some physical disabilities and we both had a great time! But take water😉 and don't forget to try the suspension bridge. For you hiking enthusiasts there are trails galore to explore. I hear there's awesome entertainment as well. Check the calendar.
  • Lift was expensive but pretty. Food was good but pricey. I wanted to buy soap at the gift shop and one of the employees told me they had the exact same items at the gift shop at the top as the gift shop at the bottom so I went to the top and they did not have the same items at all... By the time i got back to the bottom it was before 7 and they had already closed the gift shop... leaving without my soap.. thanks man :(
  • Pricey but a great way to show people who aren't able to hike up the Chief the great views of the Howe sound area. Couple of trails are wide and well maintained but some are a bit narrow and rough.
  • The view is definately worth going for and the gondola itself felt safe and fun for anyone. I personally enjoy going to banff and have been there more than regular people do, so I wasn't expecting anything more than Banff. I say it is pretty resonable place to go check out.
  • Awesome day trip from Vancouver. It was busy the day we went (holiday Monday), but one of the women working in the gift shop said it was one of the busiest days of the year. We hiked a couple short trails at the top which are well maintained and well marked. I would suggest talking to a staff member to determine the best trails for your ability, but there's something for almost anyone. Everything was beautiful, the view from the gondola and the deck at the top were well worth it. We easily spent about five hours here, could have been longer!
