I would like to start by saying we are frequent users of this park for a umber of years and have noticed a steady decrease in the attitude of the staff. One can not help but think this starts with the...  more »

The walk in camp sites are terrible. Tiny with zero privacy, no fire pits and no picnic tables. They stick communal areas right beside some of the sites so you get even less privacy. Kids running arou...  more »

We have been going here for 25 years and we are supporters of BC Parks but the staff here have been awful for the past 2 years. We camped there this week end and were bullied and picked on for various...  more »

Short drive away from Vancouver. Love how there's a station for a quick shower at the top of the concrete stairs to rinse off the saltwater. Really neat to see all the divers coming out of the water. Limited parking. Super busy in the summer.

It's really hard to get a campsite here in the summer. But, if you do, consider yourself lucky. This places is very accessible from Vancouver and so it's a nice quick get away from the busy city life. While the park is near the train tracks its not really a bother... At least for me.

Awesome water views and only 44 drive in sites and 12 or so walk in sites make it a quiet and mellow place to camp. The staff do a great job of maintaining the facilities and the hot water and flushing toilets make it a very civilized camping experience.

Park itself is great as usual but staff have become far more gestapo-ish over the years. Last time we went we were told of because our lantern was too bright. Also if you raise your voice to more than a whisper around the campfire after 10, you'll get told off, which is ironic considering there's usually a train going by every few hours.

Camping spaces are very close together, but the campground is beautiful and you can't beat falling asleep to the sound of waves!
