I have been visiting this spot for over 20 years. If you want a beautiful walk this is the place. Several trails to choose from. Great for kids to explore. You can see several ducks and other birds on a good day. Worth the drive.
A great walk for your family! We went on a beautiful summer day and everyone had fun. There are lots of wildflowers and my kids enjoyed spotting birds and squirrels. We have one child in a stroller and were pleased that we could push the stroller on all the paths.
I have lived in the Edmonton area my whole life but had never heard of this place until my son googled "nature things to do around Edmonton" Now we have been back a half dozen times and plan to return time and time again! It is never busy and it is so peaceful and quiet with an amazing boardwalk. It is great for people of all ages and hiking abilities!
This place is a great short nature walk just outside of Edmonton. There is observation places that you can watch the birds from or just sit and read. Volunteers clear the board walk in the winter so it is accessible year round. It's free so you can visit without breaking the bank.
Beautiful walking trails and nature paths. Untouched nature and a great way to get out of the busy life of the city. Conservation at its finest.
