  • Friendly helpful staff great location i rent a paddle board for 1 hr. My friend a were given a few paddling tips and let go in the beautiful bay surrounding them. The location was perfect for exploring for 1 hr and the water was the warmest I've swam in on the west coast. We then finished the day with burgers and a berr at stickleback bar adjacent to Rush adventures. I would choose Rush again.
  • I usually Kayak in Victoria’s inner harbor, but this time opted for a more personalized experience with nature. I took a one-on-one kayaking tour with Rush Adventures in the pristine basin of Sooke British Columbia. My guides Joe & Sarah were absolutely the best and taught me better paddling techniques and were well adverse about the surrounding area. After my paddle, I had a wonderful lunch at Stickleback West Coast Eatery, conveniently located beside the dock. All in all this was one of the best adventure and plan doing this again!
  • Cam was the guy running it today and he was useless we waited 15 mins just to get service to begin with. On our way back in had to pull the gear out ourself as he was no were to be seen. Trying to pay took forever cause he didn't know how to run the cash register. The kayak we had as a 2 seater yellow kayak and the Rutter attached to it didn't steer properly. The blade is bent to one side and the cables are off set so it steers to the right and can't stay straight. The life jackets were still wet and one was covered in mold. Time wasted when he had to run back to grab a map that he didn't grab to begin with. All in all won't use this facility again.
  • During our trip to Victoria we spent quite a bit of our time in the Sooke area. We headed to Rush Adventure to try out kayaking one day and we were not disappointed. The friendly employees helped us quickly get set up and in the water but also gave us all the knowledge we needed to feel comfortable. Lots to explore close by (including plenty of starfish and jellyfish) and access to the larger bay for those with more time and looking for more adventure. We had a positive experience and would recommend to any active travelers in the area. You can even head to the Sooke Potholes after your paddle for a quick dip in the river to wash off the salt spray!
  • What I did: rented a double kayak for 6 hrs. The good: friendly, quick to get you set up and in the water, lots of equipment available, dry bags available for carrying valuables in, care enough to call the coastguard if you're not back on time. The bad: the grounds had a lot of goose droppings around which you have to watch for, a double for 6 hours is $80, they didn't take a phone # to call first before calling the coastguard.
