  • Great place for shoe shopping. If you can't find it here than they dont make it. Price are a great value. Sale offers always available.  more »
  • I felt very pressured to buy a pair of shoes I wish I'd never purchased. The sales person I was dealing with made me feel like I was bothering her and I had better make a choice and leave. I ended up ...  more »
  • Staff is attentive, and makes you feel comfortable. They do not work off commission and are not pushy.. I usually find what I want, and am willing to pay a bit more for a better made shoe.  more »

  • Their service is top notch. Period. Incredibly helpful even just on the phone before I go in. Don't confuse this place with the Brantford location. That one sucks. If you are in simcoe or can get to simcoe and need shoes, go here.
  • If the sales people weren't quite as pushy I might give them a 5 star. But when you tell them that you are just looking they keep insisting to help. Running around grabbing shoes that you have already tried on. You would think they would get the hint after telling them that you don't need any help at all. But they still persist. I imagine they are getting paid commissions thus the pushiness.
  • After having bad experiences with aggressive sales people at the old downtown location, we brought a Syrian refugee family of six people in to buy them shoes. This was a radically positive experience in this new location. The staff were exceptionally kind, patient, and very accommodating as we worked with language barriers and what must have seemed like an overwhelming selection to choose from. We were mentally tallying up the cost when the owner told us that they were providing not six but eight pairs of shoes free! They even ensured the two school aged kids had an indoor and outdoor pair of shoes each and the little boy had curly laces to help him because he hadn't learned to tie shoes yet!!! We were very impressed with the service and generosity shown to these new to Canada refugees and the volunteers. Bravo Al's for seeing a need and generously responding!!!
  • Good selection. Reasonable prices.
  • Huge selection of shoes. Great staff that were friendly and honest. We purchased 4 pairs of shoes during our visit and received a very fair price. We met the owner and his wife - nice people with a local success story. I am happy to support their business.
