  • great place for families to play, swim and explore. Almost no other people around inside the park, more by the water front but still had lots of room to swim and play without tripping over others  more »

  • Great place to bring your kids... beautiful beach nice animal farm and some trails to walk thru!
  • Beautiful park with well-maintained beaches, Pavillion facilities, trails, children's petting zoo, play equipment, outdoor fitness equipment, and even a BMX Bike course. While the outdoor spaces are kept up well, more attention could be spent on the washroom facilities.
  • Canatara Park and Beach is a beautiful place to go for a nice day. Lake Chipican is a great spot to strap on your skates and take a box lunch for a winters afternon. The Childrens Animal Farm is worthwhile, especially in spring with newly born baby animals. This weekend there was a " Festival of Good Things ". We went on Saturday afternoon, but was not enthused about it. We then took a walk in the park.
  • One of the best beaches on the great lakes. Beautiful white sand, clean water, and it's so large that you get tons of private space.
  • Beautiful sandy beaches. Great trail to walk
