  • Canatara Park and Beach is a beautiful place to go for a nice day. Lake Chipican is a great spot to strap on your skates and take a box lunch for a winters afternon. The Childrens Animal Farm is worthwhile, especially in spring with newly born baby animals. This weekend there was a " Festival of Good Things ". We went on Saturday afternoon, but was not enthused about it. We then took a walk in the park.
  • One of the best beaches on the great lakes. Beautiful white sand, clean water, and it's so large that you get tons of private space.
