  • Just went up for the view which was good. It was a bit chilly for hiking when we went. It does have toilet facilities at the top which is nice.  more »
  • This is the first time we've visited this park in winter. The road was closed because of winter damage so we had to hike three K uphill. We discovered the rim trail this way so it was well worth it - ...  more »
  • Came here on a Sunday, we were the only ones at the top! The view is incredible and a great picnic spot. Only complaint is the drive up can be rough, there were a few fallen trees. Be sure if you come...  more »

  • If you like to drive to the top this is for you. I'm more into hiking to the top ( I'm sure there are trails to do so if you know the area). Real nice views good place to take the family. Just keep the kids need critters away from some of the edges.
  • Beautiful views and easy hiking trails. Make sure it's not too muddy if you're driving to the trail head though!
  • There are two ways to get to the top. One, drive up a off-road rocky road that can get narrow at certain sections. No need for a 4x4, I drove up in a front wheel drive sedan. Second, hike up. The hike is beautiful and is medium difficulty. Some sections are steep, but totally safe and beautiful views. I'd recommend the hike if you have the time. The visitors center can guide you to the start of the hike. The views are absolutely beautiful and totally worth the effort.
  • Spectacular view. Easy trail from the parking lot or hike from the bottom through a beautiful, old growth forest.
  • The views from the top of the mountain are incredible. This is a must see for anyone who wants to see something absolutely amazing.
