  • It's nice to play the prospector, but very expensive. The entry price is not everything, the main is in the end enjoy you to harvest some geodes which don't is reveal that once sawed in two. Here's the trick: each saw is a blow to the portfolio: 5 CAD for the small geodes at 25, 40 or more CAD for the biggest. If you limit yourself to a 'reasonable' budget, say 100 CAD cutting, you end up throwing most of your harvest. In addition, what you bring home has chances to be banal quality. The risk of disappointment is so big. And if you want to bring some geodes uncut, given the weight of the rocks, you are quickly beyond the weight included in the package and therefore charged by weight, in addition. Ultimately it's a little history of the gold rush that repeats, the Pickaxe sellers fortune, not the prospectors. For lovers of geodes, better buy in-store, at least you know in advance the quality-price ratio. PS: for those fly, attention to overweight baggage.

  • It is quite unique so access to a wealth of agates and be able to freely seek out the stones. However despite the explanations given at the beginning of the activated, it is not so easy to distinguish in-situ interesting stones of worthless stones! But it's rather fun to go home with his findings. We must be reasonable in the number of stones that we wear to the cutting because even if only the gems are charged, the Bill goes up quickly! Note: the site closes at 5:45, and it takes at least 2 to 3 hours of activity on the site, so better do not arrive after 3 pm.
