  • This is a lovely park in the centre of the city. There are several statues of interest and a two story gazebo/ bandshell that was a gift to the city by the City Cornet Band.
  • Great place to sit on a nice summer or fall day. Lots of trees offer shade from the sun and there are lots of benches to sit for a lunch or to gab with a friend. Beautiful Bandstand and shrubs. Nice p...  more »

  • This is an urban park, I promise. There's a bandstand/fountain, the walkway looks like the Union Jack flag from the air, and there are lots of homebums and chavs hanging around. A true Saint John experience.
  • A nice place to sit and people watch. Especially in the middle of the work week. A bit too noisy for a good place to read however
  • Beautiful piece of history. Fountain in the center is newly renovated and during the summer catch live music from the upper level. Great relief from the summer heat as the large trees and grass an escape in the center of the city.
  • A peaceful, green oasis in the city. The park has historical markers, plenty of friendly "neighbours" to chat with, beautiful flowers and an always hungry flock of pigeons with a lovely array of colours/markings. 🐥 ☺
  • One of the places Saint Johners are most proud of. On a hot summer day, the temperature will be several degrees cooler in this park. Beautiful in every way and an entertaining people watching spot.
