  • Have been there quite a few times. The only reason I gave them an average rating is the grounds where the animals are kept could have the tall grass cut back. Sometimes it is hard to see them.  more »
  • can tell me why there is the 'land of regret?' or whatever? Filled with cement animals? What are we doing here? Terrifying toddlers with dead dodo birds?  more »
  • We brought our 2 year old here because she loves animals. The staff was very friendly and took the time to tell us a little about each animal. Our daughter was very impressed with all the animals. She...  more »

  • I read the reviews of this place and thought it wouldn't be that bad, probably just eco-hippies bashing a zoo. I went there today on a weekday with a friend as something to do and it was actually depressing. We drove up and right past the entrance because it's so small. We walked in the gift shop/entrance and could easily have walked right into the zoo because nobody was standing there. We had to call the 1 employee to the front desk so we could pay. We spent about 1 hour walking around the zoo and encountered some very depressed animals, including some monkeys who looked like starving children in Africa and a snow leopard who probably died a week ago and has been lying there since. There wasn't 1 employee in the zoo and we only saw 2 other groups of people the whole time we were there. How this place still exists I have no idea. Looks to me like this town is not big enough for a zoo. This place should be shut down.
  • Great place to visit for Halloween Spook Trail they do annually. Everything is completed with the help of volunteers and they really go all out!
  • It's a good walk in the woods with wild animals to see ... It's a more natural habitat then some other zoos
  • This zoo is pretty sad. I understand it's a small town and they don't have the budget for much but there are many improvements to be made. Small things like overgrown weeds that cover signs are easy to cut back, yet here they aren't. As of June 2016 there is a sign on the lion cage saying they are expecting lion cubs in the fall of 2015. All of the animals look depressed and don't have enough room.
  • How is this dump still operating?? I came away from Cherry Brook Zoo yesterday with a very heavy heart. It is a disaster waiting to happen. A "Snow Leopard" on the endangered species list? In the SWELTERING summer heat??Seriously?? My heart aches for what poor animals are there. There arent many but this place is a disaster. Just sad. The only reason there is one star on my remark is because it will not post your comments without a star.
