  • Last day of February, the sun make the Park through a narrow path over a dozen km. All aboard. Beautiful cottage home, well equipped, room with fireplace in the basement. Let's go to 4 friends with a snack, snowshoes for the ascent of the dog's head trail. Go early, despite the dropped school, PSA too many people. Rather light starting to get to the Lake and then climb requiring cardio begins; We have sticks which helps to maintain posture and a steady pace. Arrived after 4 km, a good taste at the tops of the mountains that surround us pleasantly. Plan a small polar fleece and a cap for the breeze at the top. Really amazing day!

  • We really enjoyed our stay. First, warm hospitality and cleanliness of places, cottage, shuttle and even the "outhouses" was at the rendezvous. We were happy to have a day without clouds in the Valley of ghosts. It was incredibly breathtaking. Once at the top, the (friendly) Robert guide brought us do of the off piste in the crazy snow snowshoeing. If you go there, it is a definite must. We were a group of sixteen, of all ages so accessible. Let's say the descent off the track is nicer than the rise. It's a favorite. Sépaq Bill a right of access for each day per person, and this, even if we host in the Park. This increases expenses a lot. I think it's a shame and reduced accessibility to all portfolios. But in conclusion, monts Valin park is a great destination for those and those who appreciate the great shows at taken to a physical effort that is good...

  • Wonderful hiking, enchanting landscape, a guide to the top (Robert) who took us in off track in little wonderful corners of the forest and we even offered cakes grilled on the stove. Unforgettable!

  • Very nice national park with lakes and beautiful huts for rent. We rented the hut "Louis Dubuc" which was great. Fully equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom, electric central heating, ambience chimney, canoes and kayaks free to use, just next to a lake....simply perfect. The lady at the national park visitors centre was very friendly and explained everything to us in detail. You can do several hikes in the park and have some great views.
  • The walking trails are well maintained and the views are impressive. In the distance, we can see the fjord and the city of chicoutimi.

  • Superb. Very well signposted hiking trails and a friendly welcome. As a bonus we had the first snow of the year on the way to the top
