First the animals lacked water and this on a hot day (over 30 c.) The pens were poorly maintained and lack of staff on site. I find it unforgivable because these animals who suffer. Too bad because this zoo is part of our heritage and that since our childhood...show original
This is a great zoo and unlike the other in Quebec the kids will appreciate the proximity with the animals and staff friendliness. Just don't tell anyone so they go lineup elsewhere... :)
Not a great place to visit. Very confusing, hard to know what animals you are looking at since there is only 1 card identifying the animal and it is often on the other side of the park. The water games and kiddy pool were disgusting. Only good point was that you can pretty much feed any animal at the zoo, which was fun to do. Other than that, not good value for your money.
Gerald CourrielWe went there on Saturday, August 20, 2016. Before leaving Montreal, we had looked at the comments and some were very negative, rabaissants with respect to the zoo... We have hesitated but still went there, to judge by us same... And we absolutely do not regret! Small key very much appreciated! We will be back! -entered super affordable when we want to go see only animals! Cheaper than the Omega Park, gramby and Safari which cost an arm! -a great variety of animals! You can touch! Feed them! -could see a white, cute cub, walk on a leash and pet him--not a lot of people, easy parking - spaces clean - we can dive fuck, bring our lunch :) - possibility to buy (cheap) things as small sluch to 1.50 have made the happiness of children 3/6 years. -the trails are accessible in stroller, the sand is only on a few metres... - small playground, free train for big and small - staff is super nice - shade mass - paddling pool for to refresh. For the little things less wow... - 3 small rides dating back a little... But free! I recommend it, kids love!show original
Julie DufaultI did to this zoo on August 5, 2016. I have been very disappointed, shocking and sad to see the State in which the pens were kept. Poorly maintained animals so a chamau was hurt in a front paw and not to treat the flies were after the wound infected. All the big cats, Lion, Tiger, Lynx, had miniature pen, for their size. And it is well known that big cats have needs of PCO to place and he likes having an aces to the water mainly by some big heat including a place in the shade. But unfortunately all that lacked them and what Tigers could very well see their blanks hollow and he had a very poor state. The monkeys and Raven had small pen to the point that the Raven could fly at will. Short c was that the small pen for most animals except the cerfvider. And in the enclosure there was a very small metal container rust which contained water dirty and slimy. I walked him through sadness and anger lived in me. I'm a big fan of animals of all species and I must you share this disappointing experience. And the only people I have seen s take care of the zoo was just to empty the bins at the time of closing. So this zoo are the for profit and not for the love of animals. So with politeness j appreciated that avoid you going to encourage this place. Well thanks for reading my message and hope that the message gets asser do not encourage this place which I believe animals are bad love and treat.show original
Michel TurpinNot worth the trip for someone who do a lot of driving for 45 min to visit on average. The market are usually in sand, so in a stroller with child is very difficult. The visibility of the animals is limited, because there is double close to the enclosure. Very miserable during photo taking. Therefore the beasts are magnificent.show original
IshkuessVery disappointed in my experience, the animals do not have air well apart from deer, deer. One of the camel is very lean, one of the bald eagles has a look flat and the two grand dukes in addition to having no place to fly... I expected bcp better a place of quebec 😳😔show original
