  • The Park is beautiful, especially with the colours of October, BUT do not enjoy the peacefulness we just usually look for in a park of this type because there are as many visitors as trees and so much noise. The aisles are crowded with visitors (like me). I think it is a walk to do during the week and not on weekends or holidays.

  • Since the mont Saint-Bruno is one of the Monteregian hills, I expected a bit more vertical for hiking, but it isn't. Is better to go to the mont Saint-Hilaire close if you want a little challenge at this level. The Lakes trail is nice because as its name implies the course makes us see the lakes in the Park. Attention also to not to leave marked trails because poison ivy there proliferates. In summer, it is nice to bike trails, where it is possible, for example around the Seigneurial Lake, especially if we arrive by cycle tracks in Saint-Bruno, which are very nice. However, they are not ideal for a road bike. The Park is indeed rather a regional park, a national park, has nothing exceptional and is rather less interest if you don't live nearby. It's still worth the visit, especially on weekdays where there is very little stocked and where it feels almost alone. Whereas the right of access is the same as other parks of SÉPAQ, it is a little disappointing. But we're all near Montreal. In winter, it is possible to cross-country ski, but you have to pay a supplement, in addition to the normal right to access, which makes it a somewhat exorbitant rate. Too bad, because as the gears are low, without being fried, it gets interesting. Cross-country skiing should be included with the right of access.
