  • Our family of six enjoyed our visit to the Abbaye. The exterior is stunning and worth a quick visit all by itself. The tiled hallway is also very eye catching. The chapel inside was surprisingly under...  more »
  • The place is beautiful. You can have a picnic next to large mature trees. You have to taste their products: cheeses and ciders.

  • Beautiful place, different from other religious temples, in nature. Well built with a lot of history. Clean Archi. The only problem is that you can't visit the whole estate because it's reserved for priests.

  • The abbey is large and architecturally impressive, though much more modern than those we've visited in Europe. Still well worth the time to visit; be sure to take the self guided audio tour as it describes much about the history and everyday functioning of the abbey's Benedictine monks. There is a sales area that specializes in products that are made on the abbey property, including cheeses and numerous preserves. Leave at least an hour for a visit. Photos are permitted except during services in the sanctuary. Keeping a hushed tone and removal of hats within the abbey is expected as a sign of respect.
  • A nice place to visit. A little far from Montreal but it is a nice place. The decor of the cathedral is impressive and well maintain. You can find some amazing local products and a home maid cheese (wish is awesome). The price are fair enough.
  • Sorry very beautiful. The colors were amazing. The gift store was very nice with their products. Tried their cheese. Super delicious.
  • First off, their cheese is amazing! Love the cheese boxes. So good! Along with their other products, they are all soo delicious! It is a beautiful place to visit! The scenery is gorgeous. It was lovely to picnic and go apple picking while there! :)
  • Super nice location. The apple selection is nice, and the cheeses for sale inside the abbey are very good and not overpriced. The 4* is because you can no longer walk around the abbey and hang out by the lake as it was closed off, so a bit less activities to do unfortunately.
