Situated on a hill overlooking a bay, Kingsbrae Garden features more than 50,000 perennials, including the Wollemi pine tree "Pericles"--Canada's first "Jurassic living fossil." Alpacas, peacocks, and pygmy goats roam through its many themed gardens, which are crossed by streams and dotted with ponds. Choose from among the ornamental grass garden, gravel garden, rose garden, bird and butterfly garden, as well as a special "Scents and Sensitivity Garden," designed for the visually impaired. Find your way through the cedar maze, see a working Dutch windmill, or walk a trail through rare old-growth forest. Play croquet or bocce ball on the lawn or have a fresh-from-the-garden lunch at the cafe. Other attractions include numerous sculptures and a Children's Fantasy Garden, which is open seasonally.   • Beautiful walk to Kingsbrae Garden, you can find vouchers with discounts in the hotels. Nice walk in the garden, you can see the daily work that it requires. Doing with the children to the educational side. However arriving, impossible to find parking, a sign to indicate the parking and turn on the right on arrival would be perfect...

  • Very pretty. The grounds are lovely - they have done a nice job of it. Didn't eat in restaurant but it looks very nice.
