The Ovens Natural Park, Riverport

1.5
#2 of 52 in Parks in Southwest Nova Scotia
Wildlife Area Nature / Park
The Ovens Natural Park makes a great place for family camping. If you visit for just one day, take a hike along the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, and if you plan on staying longer, use the large campground. The campsite, situated right on the cliffs above the crashing waves, offers a rugged outdoor experience, with the comfort of nearby amenities. Bring your own food, or dine in the local restaurant in the park. Make sure to visit the natural sea caves, which resemble ovens, giving the site its famous name. Before you head to Riverport, plan trip itinerary details with our user-friendly Riverport vacation trip planner, to make sure you see all that Riverport has to offer, including The Ovens Natural Park.
