  • A good place to go for a walk with family. Very nice trail going 4 kilometres into the ocean. It may be a difficult walk on windy days. But they do have a couple of wind shelters on the trail. Beautiful view though. You can observe birds from very close as they fly over the water in search of food.
  • Decent park to hang out, go for a walk, go running, bird watching, geo caching, and more especially on a sunny day to enjoy the view. Beach is kept fairly clean. There is washroom facilities by the picnic tables and one at the end of the jetty (4 km long gravel walk way over the pipe). There are four different bins for trash and recycling. Parking spaces seem to be plentiful at this time of year. And no apparent smells as one would notice on a hot day. Summer is usually a lot busier.
  • Spent most of day with my friend photographing. Really loved this place. it's a great place to spend with family and friends. walking, jogging, cycling and birds watching... It's next to Vancouver International Airport, so you can watch planes from all over the world taking off and landing...
  • The most peaceful beach within 25 minutes of downtown Vancouver. Tons of space for a quiet stroll, with a 4km pipeline walk out to the south, or 5km of beach to the west. The thousands of driftwood logs strewn make it easy to find a private little hollow to enjoy a picnic and a nap in the sun. It's also one of the top 5 locations in BC to go birding, and an sure spot to find terns, meadowlarks and ospreys.
  • Love this park! lot of birds in summer and not crazy crowded like some parks in the city. Sunset from here is must watch.
