  • Revelstoke is one of the best ski resorts I have been to. There are lots of steep runs, but there are green and blue runs as well. The runs are big and long which is great (it is a bit tiring though)....  more »

  • This was our second time visiting the resort. The skiing is phenomenal and the views can’t be beat. It’s also a great place to visit in the summer! On mountain is a retail store, a cafe and restaurant...  more »

  • I love this mountain! It was a clear, gorgeous day.. So much fresh fluffy powder! The view is beautiful, you feel so high up in the Heavens overlooking the town of Revelstoke! 'the last spike' trail is super chill and fun for snow boarders especially.
  • After hearing so many rave reviews of Revelstoke's skiing, I was excited to try it out this Christmas season. While I certainly wasn't disappointed, I was surprised at how much of the hill was still unopened after receiving over 4 meters of snow. They brag about having the most vertical but most of that is inaccessible for a large part of the season. Still, the opened runs were full of great powder and the type of terrain was excellent for average to advanced skiers. Would love to try again later in the season to avoid all of the traversing and cat track skiing we had to do this time.
  • Best mountain in N.A. Since owners aren't skiers, they continue to miss the mark relative to on Mountain food and beverage. As long as they apply their Moxy's/Chop mentality, that part of one's day is a bust. No more Baguette up top. Best pack a lunch like the old days at Whistler and picnic somewhere! Can't beat the snow and lack of crowds!
  • We stopped in this summer to try the pipe coaster and had an awesome time! It's worth it, the coaster is so fast and fun. They also have the whole thing set up very efficently, you buy your ticket, hang around at the bottom(I went for a cold drink) till your number comes up, then take the gondola up and ride the pipe down. Well worth it!
  • Stellar mountain, and the snow is very often excellent. Less busy than some bigger hills. The lodges, services, and food are all great. It's expensive, but no more than all the other big ski resorts.

Where to stay in Revelstoke

Revelstoke's position on the Columbia River endows it with scenic vistas, and most of the accommodations in town take advantage of this by offering waterfront views. Stay at one of the many bed and breakfasts, inns, hotels, or lodges on the east side of the river to make the most of the scenery. If you visit Revelstoke to ski--between November and April--stay south of the town center, in a ski chalet at the foot of Revelstoke Mountain. There, you'll be perfectly placed to catch a gondola up the mountain and shred down its slopes.
