  • Fantastic tour of a fantastic building. I have never been this impressed by anything else in Regina, especially the Riders, am I right? But in all seriousness, the historical significance of this property is staggering, and the rejuvenation of the facility is truly something to behold. I thought the tour guide was pleasant and funny. A great date idea or place to bring guests visiting from out of town. I will definitely go again if my family or friends come to visit me in Regina!
  • A unique experience in Regina. The owner, Jason, & his butler (I believe his name was Alan) were informative and knowledgeable about the times such a building would have been built. Lots of antique furniture & decorations, & we were encouraged to try out the beds. Took my mom as a birthday outing and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you, Mr. Hall!
  • It's a beautiful stone house, quite well redone by the owner to appear to be a medieval castle inside. He obviously has invested a lot in it. We did not expect it to be his actual house that he lives in, and the owner himself (a slightly creepy single dude) giving the tour. That was a little strange especially when he included a tour of his personal quarters. Also if you are spooked easily there is a supposed haunted painting on display which the owner warns might affect you if you look it straight in the eyes. Strange. Not the most comfortable place to visit unfortunately. Remarkable decor, though.
  • Amazing experiance can honestly say ill be going back! Love that the host lets you touch and feel everything or sit on any couch. Very enjoyable.
  • Absolutely beautiful building. You can definitely tell they took their time and only brought the most authentic material and antiques in. And let's not forget the pun master we had as a tour guide! Would definitely recommend people to visit here if you get the chance.

Where to stay in Regina

For convenience, there's no better area to stay than the downtown, between the central station and Wascana Lake. If proximity to the station is important to you, stay north at one of the chain hotels along Saskatchewan Drive. If you'd rather be surrounded by greenery, look south to the more low-key accommodations along College Avenue, which backs onto the large park bordering the lake. Victoria Avenue offers a good selection of hotels in the center, as well as a large cluster of inns and motels as you head east toward the city limits.
