The rabaska over water is a fun activity that allows to discover the landscapes and wildlife. Easy booking and access from the car park. Beware, the kayak is another organization where registration is done by telephone on a premium rate number and you stay a little delivered to you even...

Love the walking trail here along the St Lawrence River. It's a beautiful walk on a wide, flat, stroller-friendly path that leads to Cap Rouge (about 3 km away). Great place to come in the summer, since it's always a few degrees cooler by the water.

A beautiful beach, all year long! A breath of fresh air, about 10 minutes from the Center. A great walk with amazing views!

Perfect place for family outings on bright sunny days, in the midst of nature. Parking options available.

Where to stay in Quebec City

Most accommodations cluster on the west side of the St. Lawrence River, with the city's split-level old town offering the widest range of options and best access to top attractions. Stay in the upper town to be close to the castle and enjoy views over the river. What the lower town lacks in panoramas, it makes up for in historic charm and access to riverside cafes and restaurants. If you want a less-touristy experience, consider the up-and-coming neighborhood of St. Roch, whose cafes, bars, restaurants, and artistic spaces make it an alternative traveler's paradise.
