Look down over Quebec's highest cascade from atop a suspension bridge at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency. Plunging from a height of 83 m (272 ft), the falls stand 30 m (98 ft) taller than the more famous Niagara Falls. During the colder months, the falls feature a cone of ice known as the Sugar Loaf at their base. Ride a zipline or walk along a clifftop trail in the surrounding park; feel free to bring food with you for a picnic. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Quebec City holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Parc de la Chute-Montmorency and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • I never realized this fall existed, all you ever hear about is Niagara Falls. We only spent a few minutes in the parking lot to take some pics but that is all was needed to appreciate the beauty.

  • If you are visiting Quebec City, this is an easy trip (with your own vehicle) and well worth it. Hike up to the top of the falls and walk across.

  • A scenic area just a short drive east from Quebec City. There is cable car going to the top of the fall. The fall is magnificent. There is a ladder by the side of the fall for you to climb all the way up without riding the cable car. A fee is charged for parking and admission to the park. It is around $11 plus taxes. There is discount for seniors.
  • Very beautiful!!! If you visit you must take the cable car to the top. The falls are absolutely wonderful. The park is fantastic. It was very clean. The was a lot to do for everyone. Definitely would go back.
  • Wonderful place to spend some time if you're visiting Quebec city. There are about 3 entry points. There is a parking available at the top and bottom of the zipline car stations. There is an entry from the other side of falls, but there was no parking available so we had to park on street, but it is a residential area so you can find one easily. Entry fee is $8.50 per adult. If you're by car and using their parking, there will be about $4 per car. Zipline car is a good experience to take amazing view of the falls. You can walk close to the falls on trails at the bottom. We loved our day here.
  • Beautiful area. Suggest parking at the top! Cost of the gondolas is the only reason I'm rating a 4.
  • Gorgeous falls. Best time to see them is in the spring I think cause the last time I saw them in the summer there wasn't as much water. The ride up in the cable car and the walk down the side of the hill is a great experience.
