  • In the Park you will find the monument to the veterans of the Boer War. You will also find an old powder magazine from the early 1800s. There is also, along Auteuil Street, the alley of poets. It presents a tribute to Quebec, Ukrainian, Italian, Georgian Poets, etc.

  • Another great locale for Carnaval de Quebec
  • It is a nice park with view over the parliament. It is nice place to stroll and the fortifications & cannon make you feel somewhat like Europe. Not a must see Quebec City sight, but if you have a spare hour it is worth spending it in Esplanade Park.
  • Great place for a relaxing stroll off the tourist trail. Beautiful views of the city old and new. Many local restaurants prepare picnic lunches. This is a great place to enjoy lunch on the grass overlooking the city.
  • Cool little park. Close to the wall, stables and clean public restrooms. A quiet break from the crowds in the old city.
  • Amazing view out over the city. Nice fountain in centre. Great for photos, day or night time.
