Visit a bit expensive for a simple view, but what a view on Quebec. Nice to see old Quebec close, top, but also to see the Laurentians, the River, the island. Especially for me coming from Quebec City: I recognize plenty of places and it allows to appreciate distances!

The visit to this place was very agile, was not full of tourists and was much more than expected. In addition to wonderful views of the city, there are screens interactive indicating you local attractions, pictures before and after that site in particular and the same story; you choose what information like to deploy. In addition is in 3 languages: English, French and Spanish. Walking through the place, you'll also find a little history and relevant data of Canada and Quebec, counted in a funny way through murals.

The observatory offers a wide aerial view of the city but, unfortunately, it isn't that great to justify the admission fee. It is basically a place to take a couple selfies and leave. Québec City has ...  more »

A great way to begin your visit to beautiful Quebec City. The skyline looking down towards the St. Lawrence river and the Old City is just spectacular!

Overall, the Quebec City skyline is just not that beautiful. Add to that this building's horrendous look, and you will find yourself having a very middling experience. The actual facilities and services of the building, however, are perfectly fine.

It is a perfect place to have bird eye view of old Quebec. Historical photos, interesting videos are so attractive.

Excellent views of the city from all sides. Very knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions

This is one of the tallest buildings in Quebec City and probably the best place to see the city from above, including historic Old City and the Saint Lawrence River. Highly recommended for cityscape fanatics like me!

Where to stay in Quebec City

Most accommodations cluster on the west side of the St. Lawrence River, with the city's split-level old town offering the widest range of options and best access to top attractions. Stay in the upper town to be close to the castle and enjoy views over the river. What the lower town lacks in panoramas, it makes up for in historic charm and access to riverside cafes and restaurants. If you want a less-touristy experience, consider the up-and-coming neighborhood of St. Roch, whose cafes, bars, restaurants, and artistic spaces make it an alternative traveler's paradise.
