  • Very nice views of Quebec City and the surrounding areas (I could even see the spray from the Chute-Montmorency, where we were earlier in the day!) Not much else up there apart from infograms on the w...  more »
  • We recently visited the Observatoire de la Capitale. The views from the 31st floor gave us a real sense of the city and environs. Along all the interior walls were many facts about the history of Queb...  more »
  • For those who do not know Quebec City, the Observatory is a good stop to add to his day. The new exhibit makes it more interesting to visit, with several little-known facts, but no less relevant to know. It does however not much on cloudy days, it won't be as long as me, not great, despite the good idea to have put screens showing what each view allows to observe. The building Marie Guyart is very accessible, whether you are by car (paid parking all ready or with Park-o-meter), by bus (stops nearby) or walk (near old Quebec, of Cartier avenue). On the other hand do not stay more than an hour.

  • Great views of the city...360 degrees...very informative and good looking information panels on the walls opposite the Windows. Could spend an afternoon just looking at those panels. The elevator ride up was quick. We didn't have to wait and we were there in a Saturday afternoon. I didn't notice any staff however...it would have been nice to have someone point out the various landmarks (other than our tour guide in broken English).
  • One of the best things to do in Quebec City in my opinion. It closes at 5, so try to go later at 4, just before it closes to avoid the tourist rush. Price is decent for the view, but we were only on the 31st floor. However, Quebec City is pretty flat so you could clearly see all the buildings and landmarks.
  • Worth the price of admission. Beautiful view of all sides of the city with information screens in different languages. Also, very happy with the fact there were chairs there to sit and enjoy the view.
  • Pretty good look even at night. Mind the reflection of you gonna take a night scene.
  • A bit pricey for the views but on a good day some stunning views of the city all around. Great place to start of the Quebec visit and. Get some orientation.
