Super fun and affordable museum! No student discounts but by age. 15 CAD for 25-34 years old. They had a poop history/display that was fun, gross, educational, and fascinating! Worth the time for it. They also have lots of other exhibits, some are more hands on than others. Did it in about 2 hrs but missed a section.

We learned so much and the layout and guided tour was wonderful. Great for families or just by yourself. Very clean and being from the USA and not speaking much French everyone was bilingual and very nice. Such great history here and beautiful architecture. The food is INCREDIBLE!

Nice place visit with kids and for adults. Open your mind when saw things from the past. Very productive visit, we were spend 4h. A lot of fun. Also unusual part of museum with poop.

Went here while we were touring around Quebec City, was really enlightening into the culture and background of the area. They didn't only focus on the area though, there were multiple exhibits which were super interactive and entertaining to learn more about. My personal favorite was the movement exhibit which showed the powers of motion capture with free expression of dance and movement. The line wasn't too bad, the ticket machines were having issues so we ended up having to go to purchase them at the desk instead. As an English speaker with very limited French, I can confirm that the staff here is well versed in both dialects for any questions you may have. Overall a really enjoyable place for a trip during the day if you're interested in history and creative exhibitions.

Great museum! History of the Quebec and First Nations halls. We really liked the “experimental” exhibition about the poop. 😃 Smth we never saw before. We also liked the museum cafe. Usually such cafes don’t have good variety. However, this one had lots of healthy options for lunch (like soup and salads). Delicious desserts. The museum also has small playground in the basement and robotic workshop.
