Thanks for the 25-minute walk away. Good to meet the construction and plant options and other products very well presented. Around the old port to the old centre has beautiful views and pleasant streets to walk the walk.

I love visiting the market ! There is so much to discover! Lots of amazing local products! Love both seafood place and the mountain of fruits we can find from local farmers! Don't forget to go for a stroll along the Marina! It is just beautiful!

You can find a good selection of local produce and Quebec specialities all within walking distance from the old city. I suggest you know your prices as something I found to be expensive. All in all, a great place to buy local foods or for items not commonly found at a typical grocery store.

A quaint market. Good food. You can get yourself some real Quebec Spruce Beer.

A charming place to visit. Often many tourists go because it is such a good place to get maple syrup, ice wine, apple cider, pâté and terrine, and other such items produced locally. Good competitive prices on many of these products, but local produce is a bit on the expensive side.

Where to stay in Quebec City

Most accommodations cluster on the west side of the St. Lawrence River, with the city's split-level old town offering the widest range of options and best access to top attractions. Stay in the upper town to be close to the castle and enjoy views over the river. What the lower town lacks in panoramas, it makes up for in historic charm and access to riverside cafes and restaurants. If you want a less-touristy experience, consider the up-and-coming neighborhood of St. Roch, whose cafes, bars, restaurants, and artistic spaces make it an alternative traveler's paradise.
