  • A charming place to visit. Often many tourists go because it is such a good place to get maple syrup, ice wine, apple cider, pâté and terrine, and other such items produced locally. Good competitive prices on many of these products, but local produce is a bit on the expensive side.
  • June 2017 Sampled cheese from the little shop in the middle of the market. Local bleu, sheep's milk and semi soft with mead was very nice. Very kind friendly staff. Beside them is a little sausage shop. Try the Chorizo Fort. Then across from them is the bakery. Even if they're out of fresh baguette they have some frozen from yesterday that are just as good. They're tarts and croissants are also delicious. Then beside them is a huge selection of craft beer and some wine. Everything you need ;) August 2016 Great produce. If I lived here I would love to cook with all those vegetables. We really enjoyed sampling the cassis, and mead, and duck, and blueberries. Lots of local products to explore. Well worth waundering through and a great place to find local gifts to take home.
  • Nice market, as crowded as any and the vendors try hard to communicate in English but frenh is better. I bought a local iced cider that isnt available in Ontario.
  • Amazing local market with a wide selection of fresh products, including flowers, fruits, juices, etc. Also a lot of natural and organic food. Totally worth the visit, definitely a must for visitors in Quebec City.
  • Great place to get nice local food and liquor. Its the Public market of Quebec, a very nice place to start your expedition in the old town of Quebec city.
