Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web
Venture through La Promenade Samuel-De Champlain, a vast public walkway surrounded by a lush natural landscape and paths and facilities of modern design. Originally this area was one of the most degraded areas of the river, but today it serves as a popular spot for locals and tourists to walk, cycle, play sports, observe contemporary art, and experience the outdoors. The promenade is divided into four thematic stations--Station Cageux, Sports Station, Quays Station, and Wooded Tequenonday--all offer a unique atmosphere. Play soccer in one of the modern facilities, observe historic Native American archaeological remains, or marvel at pine trees nearly 30 m (98 ft) high.
