Stroll down La Promenade des Gouverneurs, a long boardwalk that joins up several of the city's attractions and features a good number of scenic viewpoints. The elevated wooden trail follows the path of the citadel, with the old fortification walls on one side of the walkway. Offering particularly notable views of the river, the path has become popular with visitors wishing to photograph wide-angle shots of the city.
