The promenade overlooks the city and the St. Lawrence River. The view is really beautiful. You are also at the foot of the chateau Frontenac, ideal Spot for photos and eating ice cream in the Sun.

Beautiful morning jogging photography on the basis of the Park of fields-of-battle, then walk of Governors. From there, you have great views of the St. Lawrence and you arrive at the foot of the Château Frontenac after climbing a lot of markets but it's good for the glutes!

Where to stay in Quebec City

Most accommodations cluster on the west side of the St. Lawrence River, with the city's split-level old town offering the widest range of options and best access to top attractions. Stay in the upper town to be close to the castle and enjoy views over the river. What the lower town lacks in panoramas, it makes up for in historic charm and access to riverside cafes and restaurants. If you want a less-touristy experience, consider the up-and-coming neighborhood of St. Roch, whose cafes, bars, restaurants, and artistic spaces make it an alternative traveler's paradise.
