Once the preferred hot spot for elite classes in the 19th century, today Grande Allee remains one of the city's most popular streets. While renowned for its fine dining and striking architecture, the street actually offers something for everyone. Eateries range from affordable to upper-end, and after dark the area buzzes with drinking and dancing in its nightclubs and bars. By day, check out the nearby urban park just off the street.
