Pheasant Glen is a strikingly beautiful traditional walkable natural golf course. 6,928 yards - par 72 - slope 128

A multi-million dollar rebuild completed in 2005 finished the course started by Doug Carrick in 1990 and finished under new ownership and the supervision of Frank Russel in 2005.

The new track officially opened in 2005 and just keeps getting better as it matures. The golf course is becoming renowned for the best greens on the Central Island. Cut packed and rolled they stimp over 10 year round. They are guaranteed to be fast in the summer.

Pheasant Glen and its members have been the proud hosts of Provincial and National Championships including:

2006 Men’s BCGA Mid-Amateur Championship

2007 Ladies BCGA Amateur and Mid-Amateur Championship

2008 Men's Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship

In 2006, while attending the BCGA Men’s Mid-Amateur at Pheasant Glen, the BCGA Executive Director declared 16, 17 and 18 “the three toughest finishing holes in British Columbia”.

Just two players finished under par during the Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship in 2008.

  • This course is a sleeper. Often overlooked as its tucked away off the main roads. Challenging links style puts a great day of golf in front of you. The greens are like lightning. Wonderful experience

Two years in a row the second weekend in September we have invaded Pheasant Glen for our yearly Kamtoria golf tournament. The greens were just perfect as the rest of the course and really cannot say enough about how fantastic the staff is as well excellent food. • This a golfers golf course with incredible views. The website Golf Vancouver Island brought me to Pheasant Glen for the first time In 2014. I have played it 20 times since then. The golf course is one of the best on the island no doubt about it. Not only that but it is beautiful. The views are spectacular and it set half in a meadow and half in the forest. From a golf perspective it amazing. The greens are fantastic and fast. The entire course is very well maintained. They also have a great driving range and full separate practice facility with four full size practice greens and several practice bunkers. Beside the golf shop and Restaraunt is another putting green and a chipping green with bunkers. The golf course has hosted Provincial and National Championships. - 2006 BC Women's and Senior Women's Championship - 2007 BC Men's Mid-Amateur Championship - 2008 Canadian Men's Mid-Amateur Championship - Pheasant Glen will host the BC Men's Amateur Championship in 2016. The view from the restaraunt deck is unbelievable. The food is good and the staff is friendly. This a golfer's golf course. There are four knowledgeable CPGA pros on staff and a fully stocked golf shop. If you are looking for a great place to play look no further.
  • Always a pleasure to play here! Keep up the great work!
  • What's to say, it's a tent!
